Your responsibilities

  • Teach students Arabic at their level, from basic conversation to grammar
  • Explain the rules of nahwu and shorof in language that is easy to grasp
  • Train students to read, write, and speak Arabic
  • Follow Arabi’s method guide and the leveled materials provided
  • Track each student’s progress and report it regularly
Qualifications

Required

  • Command of Arabic, covering conversation and the rules of nahwu and shorof
  • Able to explain Arabic grammar in an orderly and simple way
  • Patient and communicative with students of different ages
  • Mindful of adab when teaching the language of the Quran and Islamic knowledge
  • Willing to complete Arabi method training before teaching

Nice to have

  • Background in Arabic language, Arabic literature, or a pesantren
  • Experience teaching Arabic in an institution or private tutoring
  • Used to reading classical Arabic texts or preparing for IKLA/TOAFL exams
